How it happened
While the Women's Soccer team stayed on their home turf to play Cabrini, the Men's Soccer team traveled up to Cabrini to continue conference play on Wednesday Night October 16th. Just like at home, the conditions were not ideal for a soccer game, in fact, there seemed to have been even more rain up in Radnor Pa. The Wolverines fought hard throughout regulation play but fell short of the win in overtime, 1-2.
Cabrini got on the board in the 22nd minute of the game by Andre Justin who snuck the ball in the lower left side of the net past Jason Sommer, 0-1.
The remainder of the first half the Wolverines maintained possession but were unable to score leaving Cabrini to lead 0-1 into the half.
The Wolverines continued to fight hard up until the last three minutes of the game when Matthew Dina booted the ball deep inside the net from 35 yards out to bring the game into overtime, 1-1.
The Cavaliers found it in them to score only minutes into overtime to take the win 1-2.

Comments from the coach
"This was a frustrating loss for us. The effort was excellent especailly defensively and I thought we deserved our equaliser. A wonderful goal and display from Matthew Dina but then we lost concentration in overtime. I give credit to Cabrini for getting after the win. We need to learn to win and see the game through as we continue onto conference play".
