Men’s Basketball Stumbles at Wagner 

Staten Island, NY. - The Wesley College Men's Basketball team traveled to Wagner College on Tuesday, November 12th to take on the Division I Seahawks and though the Wolverines put forth strong efforts, they were defeated 97-67.  

Brian Cameron led the Wolverines with 17 points and went 7-12 in field goals made. 

Behind Cameron was Greg Bloodsworth bringing in nine points, going 4-11 in field goals made with two rebounds and two assists.  

Andrew Shepherd and Russ Keyhea brought in eight points each on the night. Keyhea led the team in rebounds (7), followed by Cameron (6). 

Terrence Braxton contributed seven points and six rebounds. Braxton went 2-4 in field goals made, had a team high of three assists and notched two steals.

Josh Hall led the Wolverines in steals with three.  

Curtis Cobb led the Seahawks with 40 points. Tyrone Nesby IV led with eight rebounds, Alex Morales added eight assist and 15 points while Will Martinez contributed 20 points for a Seahawk win 97-67. 

The Wolverines will continue their road tour as they head to the Quality Inn Tournament at SUNY-Oneonta. First up will be DeSales on Friday, November 15th. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
