Before returning to Wesley a second time, Nowakowski worked at Sussex Tech from 1999-2007 as a position coach and defensive coordinator.  Just prior, Nowakowski coached Wesley’s defensive line from 1994-98, mentoring some of Wesley’s all-time greatest linemen like Joe Kingsborough and Demetrius Stevenson.

Coach Nowakowski played for Wesley from 1990-93, starting three seasons on the defensive line.  Coach Drass’ first team captain, Nowakowski earned preseason All-America honors that same year. Nowakowski helped the Wolverines win a pair of ECAC Championships in 1991 and 1993 and is often referred by Drass as one of the most intense players he has ever coached.

Coach Nowakowski graduated from Wesley with a degree in Physical Education in 1995.  He and his wife, Brandi, reside in Milford with their twin sons, Bret and Brock.
