Wesley Competes at Widener Invitational
CHESTER, Pa. - The Wesley College women's indoor track & field team traveled to Widener Invitational for an unscored meet.
Tiara Brooks (Felton, Del./Lake Forest) took fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.90. She was also sixth in the 800-meter with a 2:44.90, one place ahead of teammate Jennifer Parave (Bridgeton, N.J./Woodstown, who ran a 3:05.26.
Sontia Biggus was ninth in the shot put with a toss of 30-7.5.
Wesley is idle for two weeks before heading to the Mason-Dixon Championships on February 22 at Christopher Newport University.
