Wolverines Notch Road Win

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Two goals in the opening four and a half minutes of the second half lifted the Wesley College women's soccer team to a 3-0 win at Lebanon Valley.

With the Wolverines (6-9) leading 1-0 entering the second half, Chelsea Buttacavoli (Brick, N.J./Marlboro) stretched the lead with her first career goal, midway through the 47th minute.  Just 2:55 later, Hannah Hardman (Bowie, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) lobbed the ball in front of the net setting up a Kim Fearnbach (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central) header that resulted in a 3-0 Wesley lead.

Lindsey Campbell (Bear, Del./Padua Academy) scored the game-winner in the first half with a long shot just over the outstretched hands of Lebanon Valley's (6-10-1) Alyson Reitmeyer at the beginning of the 22nd minute.

Sydney Kahan (Cranston, R.I./Cranston) made five of her seven saves in the second half to preserve her fifth shutout of the year.

Reitmeyer stopped five shots for the Dutchmen in the losing effort.

Wesley returns to conference action with another road trip to south central Pennsylvania when the Wolverines visit York (Pa.) on October 24.
