Lindsey Eichner is in her fourth season as the head women's lacrosse coach at Wesley College.
Her teams have produced six all-conference selections and have posted three of the four highest scoring totals in school history. Eichner has coached Wesley's all-time leading scorer in Jade Martin and the career assist leader, Leslie Cervenka.
Last year, she guided the Wolverines to 14 school records,
including 183 goals on the year and 21 in a victory over
Shenandoah. The team's 64 assists tied the school record
and seven wins tied for the second most in the program's short
history. Wesley also finished among the Division III
leaders in ground balls (13th) and All-CAC selection Brooke Bennett
was 10th in caused turnovers.
The 2008 season saw the Wolverines move to the Capital Athletic
Conference. Wesley won five times on the season, with three losses
coming by just a single goal. Bennett emerged into one of the top
defensive players in the nation, finishing sixth in Division III in
caused turnovers.
Eichner's inauguaral team in 2007 showed improvement over the
previous year, winning six times, including five wins in the
Pennsylvania Athletic Conference. She also had four players named
to the All-PAC first or second team. The team ranked fifth
nationally with 445 ground balls, an average of 29.67 per
game. Also, by averaging 11.47 goals per game, the team set a
school record for goals.
Her team also made strides offensively, scoring 34 more goals than
the 2006 squad.
A former All-American, Eichner was a four-year starter at
Washington College. She is the Washington College record holder for
career assists with 136, which ranked 19th all-time in Division
III.
Before her appointment at Wesley Eichner was an assistant coach at
Wilkes University. In 2006, Coach Eichner acted as Interim Head
Coach for the Colonels.
Stacy Fimmano is in her second year as an assistant coach with the Wolverines after finishing her playing career at Wilkes.
Splitting time between the field and goal, Stacy scored 88 goals and 27 assists for 115 points in 59 games for the Colonels. As a goalkeeper, she posted 212 saves, a 14.11 goals against average and a .469 save percentage in just under 1,000 minutes. Fimmano played at Wilkes for current Wesley head coach Lindsey Eichner.
Fimmano is pursuing her master's degree in Education at Wesley.
