The Wesley College softball team dropped a pair of non-conference road games at Delmarva Penninsula rival Washington College.

Wesley College's Carmen Walsh hit her team-high third homer in the sixth inning, but that was the Wolverines' only offense in a 7-1 loss to York (Pa.) in the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament.

4/16/09
Hood's Bridgette Ringley allowed just six hits and struck out 10 Wesley College batters as the Wolverines fell 6-1 in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference Playoffs.

4/14/09
Both the Wesley College baseball and softball teams had their Capital Athletic Conference first round playoff games washed out by inclement weather in the Dover, Delaware and Frederick, Maryland areas.
