Donisi Named USTFCCCA All-American

NEW ORLEANS - Wesley College sophomore Chris Donisi (Woodbury, N.J./West Deptford) was named a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-American in the long jump.

He is the first Wolverine to earn USTFCCCA All-America status since the program ascended to Division III varsity status in 2007-08.

Donisi earned the accolade after he placed eighth at the long jump at the 2009 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a mark of 22-8 1/4 (6.91 meters). 

Earlier in the year, he won both the Capital Athletic Conference and Mason Dixon Conference Outdoor Championships.  Donisi jumped 22-4 (6.81) to win the CAC crown and turned around two weeks later to hit a school record 23-3 1/4 (7.09) to take the Mason Dixon title.
