No. 12 Mary Washington Downs Wesley
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Wesley College men's tennis team dropped its season opener at No. 12 Mary Washington in a Capital Athletic Conference match, 8-1.
Wesley's (0-1, 0-1 CAC) lone win came at sixth singles by default. Rashad Laster (Brandywine, Md./Brandywine) picked up the win, his first in his career.
The Eagles (7-5, 1-0 CAC) swept the remaining five singles match ups and three doubles matches.
The Wolverines will be in search of their first victory when they travel to Hood on March 17.
