Wesley Wins RMC Tournament

ASHLAND, Va. - Saidu Fofanah had a goal and an assist as Wesley College defeated Randolph-Macon 4-0 on the second day of the RMC Select Tournament to claim the tournament championship.
The game-winner proved to come from an own goal by the Yellow Jackets (0-2) at 20:05. It took less than a minute for the Wolverines (2-0) to make it 2-0, however, when Jason Norris scored off a cross from Fofanah at 20:58.
Wesley made it 3-0 during the 36th minute, when Steve Beauchamp sent a cross to Nico Scarpato who kicked it home for his first career goal.
The score stayed that way until Fofanah scored on a one timer from Oscar Juvera in the 84th minute.
Nick Talarico made six saves playing the first 74:48 and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Tom Mikulski played the final 15:12 in net.
Randolph-Macon keeper Jason DePre made four saves.
In addition to Talarico, Craig Taswell, Kyle Lawrence, Norris, and Will Sutton were named to the all-tournament team.
