Wesley College Field Hockey Camps
There are numerous camp opportunities for field hockey players to attend summer camp. At Wesley College we are offering three different opportunities for campers:
First: Wesley hosts a Nike Camp. Sponsored by Nike and US Sports Camps, the camp at Wesley College is directed by Head Coach Tracey Short. The camp counselors are current and former college players from all levels. As the Nike/ US Sports Camps brochure states: "Nike Field Hockey Camps immerse you in the sport, giving you the kind of focused, intensive training essential to improvement. Over the course of camp, your self-confidence will grow along with your skills. At Nike Field Hockey Camps, expect personal, individualized instruction, and with it results!"

Second: Wesley College will host Gear Up Field Hockey Camp. The Gear Up Field Hockey Camp, directed by Coach Short, emphasizes skill development, team play and learning through doing. Your daily routine will include skills, team work and game play to help incorporate your individual skills into game time decision making. An added feature this summer will include a fitness component - assisting in preparing you to be the best you can be. The dates of the Gear Up Camp are: July 26-29 and are held on our artificial grass field.
Due to our economic issues, costs for this year's summer camps will allow for individuals to attend camp even in the rough times we are living.
Day camper: Here by 8:45 leave by 4:30 - bring your own lunch - $250 per camper
Day Camper +: Here by 8:45 out by 4:30 - lunch included - $275 per camper
Overnight Camper: Stay in dorms, meals included - $350 per camper

Third: Our third option for camps this summer are our Gear Up Team Camps. Our Team Camps are held at your school from 8:30-3 and allow the students to participate in camp with most of the people that will be playing on their team. The camps are run by our staff and utilize skill development, team work, team bonding and a ‘leg-up' to the campers in meeting and working with their teammates.
